What makes the Whole Child?
When assessing a child's function, it is important to look at all aspects related to the child's ability to function within their environment. A deficit in one are may impact the other areas. It is for this reason that even as a physical therapist, I also pay close attention to the other areas that make the child whole and use strategies to effect change across the spectrum.
